It was a 2 and a half hour drive from Ljubljana, across the boarder to Zagreb, Croatia.
Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, is one of the oldest cities in Central Europe, with a history dating back to Roman times. It was officially recognised as a free royal city in 1242.
We headed straight to the Old Town and had a wonder and some lunch. Then we headed back to the car to our first overnight stop in Croatia – Ličko Petrovo Selo.
