While today is a rest day for the Tour de France, we decided to go and visit Chamonix, famous for being home to Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe, standing at 4,809m above sea level.
In winter Chamonix is well known for some of the best skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the world.
