Our Airbnb was in Reinbach, Germany and this morning we stopped in Cologne.
A must visit is one of the most iconic landmarks in Germany, the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) – a UNESCO World Heritage site that took over six centuries to complete.
We walked along the Rhine River to the Hohenzollern Bridge – famous for its ‘love locks’.
An interesting fact about this city is that the world-famous fragrance “Eau de Cologne” was first created here by an Italian perfumer named Giovanni Maria Farina in the 18th century.
