From Verona, we made a stop at the Scaliger Castle.
The Castello Scaligero, also known as the Scaliger Castle, is a prominent medieval fortress located in Sirmione, on the southern shore of Lake Garda. It is such a picturesque setting and the castle offers stunning views of the lake.
It was only a short stop to admire this pretty, fairytale castle before continuing our journey to the Italian Alps.
